Woke up to an overcast day but as the morning went on it brightened up and was partly cloudy.
Went downstairs at 8.00am for our big breakfast to last us through the day and then headed out for a drive around the area.
First call was to drive up to the top of Mt Victoria but it was a little early for photos as it hadn't brightened up but went ahead and took them.

At 4.00pm we drove over to Peter Sayers for a catch up and dinner. Great to see him again and had a lot of laughs going over the past. He cooked a nice meal and we came away without getting a photo of us all dammit.... thought of it a few times over the evening then it didn't happen. Back to hotel to write the blog. Not much in it today. Big day tomorrow going to Te Papa starting at 9.30am.
